Dear Wichita Aero Club Golfers and Prospects:

Our 11th WAC Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, May 17, 2021 at Crestview Country Club—BUT IT’S STILL NOT A CERTAINTY! Because we only have a half dozen foursomes registered to play as of this writing, we’re still below our established threshold for going forward with this event. For those who have already committed to the tournament as players and/or sponsors, THANK YOU! For those of you who just haven’t gotten around to registering your team or sponsorship, please visit our website at www.wichitaaero.club/golf-tournament and follow the prompts to do so right away. A copy of the brochure with all of the details for the WAC Golf Classic is also available on the site, too.

It is imperative that we hear from golfers and sponsors in the next week or we’ll be compelled to cancel again this year. With COVID-19 concerns and the cost-cutting measures that have resulted from coping with the pandemic, we understand that this opportunity might not rise to the level of a priority for you or your company. But, it IS an outdoor event, we plan to observe social-distancing protocols during the luncheon and reception and we’ve been assured by Crestview Country Club that they remain diligent in maintaining recommended guidelines as well. The WAC Golf Classic supports our educational initiatives, as well, so it remains a “good cause” even at a time when funding resources are limited.
