Celebration of Life for Dr. Rosemary A. Kirby

Good morning –

We are deeply saddened to share with you that Dr. Rosemary A. Kirby passed away on Saturday, August 28. As you know, Dr. Kirby served as president of Wichita Area Technical College in the 80s and 90s, and her leadership made a profound impact on what is today known as WSU Tech. Just this summer, the WSU Tech Foundation dedicated a commemorative statue and announced a scholarship in her name that will forever provide support to students pursuing technical education at WSU Tech. Thank you once again for your contribution to that fund and to Rosemary’s legacy.

Our deepest condolences are with Rosemary’s family and friends during this time. A celebration of her life is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, and you can view her obituary here.
