“Senator Moran had a productive conversation with FAA Administrator Dickson this afternoon. They discussed the impacts of COVID-19 on the industry and the 737 MAX recertification efforts. He was pleased to hear confirmation the FAA is still continuing to work with Boeing in review of the MAX, and while the agency does not have a timeline, Boeing’s plans are still positioned for mid-year, with mid-summer as a possibility for recertification.

Senator Moran relayed his thanks for their continued attention to this matter and will continue to work closely with the Administrator on all FAA related matters.”
